Happy National Banana Bread Day!
Meet the most Chocolatey Chippy Banana Bread ever!
2 cups AP flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup softened butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3-4 mashed ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups (1/2 semi-sweet, 1/2 milk chocolate) chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F.
Lightly grease a 9"x5" loaf pan, line with parchment if desired.
In bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt, whisk together and set aside.
In separate bowl, cream butter and brown sugar together.
Add eggs and blend well.
Mix in bananas until fully incorporated.
Add flour mixture and stir until flour is just combined, but do not over mix.
Add chocolate chips.
Bake for approx. 1 hour, or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes, then turn out to cool further.
